Welcome to BrightHelp.ca A platform created to connect business owners with independent Virtual Assistants (VAs) and provide a calm, organized workspace for collaboration.
By using this website or the BrightHelp Workspace, you agree to the following terms.
1. Who We Are
BrightHelp.ca is owned and operated by Mellisa Lozinski based in Ontario, Canada.
We act as a connector: not an employer or agency. All VAs listed on the platform are independent professionals who manage their own businesses, client relationships and payments for services.
2. Accepting These Terms
By accessing or using the website, directory, forms, or workspace, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old;
- Agree to use BrightHelp in a respectful, lawful manner;
- Have read and understood this agreement.
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and related tools.
3. VA Memberships & Client Use
- Clients: BrightHelp is free to browse, use for matching purposes and collaborate with your virtual assistant in the BrightHelp Workspace.
- VAs: Paid membership plans grant access to the VA Directory, matching system, and the BrightHelp Workspace.
- Members are responsible for maintaining accurate information on their profiles and keeping login details secure.
- BrightHelp reserves the right to review, approve, or remove listings that do not align with community standards or professionalism expectations.
4. Payment & Refunds
- Membership payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Monthly or yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
- Because BrightHelp provides immediate access to member resources, memberships are non-refundable, except where required by law.
5. Independent Relationships
BrightHelp does not employ, manage, or guarantee the performance of any Virtual Assistant.
All projects, contracts, and payments between clients and VAs occur independently of BrightHelp.
We are not responsible for any loss, dispute, or outcome resulting from these relationships.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the site for spam, harassment, or solicitation.
- Copy, distribute, or exploit BrightHelp content or materials without permission.
- Attempt to access private data or interfere with the platform’s operation.
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All text, design, and content on BrightHelp.ca are owned by BrightHelp unless otherwise noted.
You may not reproduce or distribute materials without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
BrightHelp is provided “as is.”
We do not make guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or results of using the platform.
We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or workspace.
9. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms occasionally to reflect new features or policies.
Any updates will take effect immediately once posted here.
