How does BrightHelp match me with the right virtual assistant?

We review your form, look at your needs, and shortlist VAs whose skills, availability, and working style fit your business. You’ll receive a small, curated list, not a massive directory to scroll through so you can easily choose your new VA.

How long does the matching process take?

Most matches happen within a couple of days. If your needs are highly specialized or we need more details from you, it may take a little longer, but we’ll keep you updated the whole way.

Is there any cost to hire a VA through BrightHelp?

Nope, hiring through BrightHelp is completely free for business owners. You only pay the VA you choose to work with according to their payment terms.

How do I communicate with my VA once matched?

All communication happens in your shared BrightHelp Workspace or by the communication method agreed upon by you and your VA. The Workspace provides a convenient place to keep messages, tasks, files, and notes all in one spot. You and your VA can decide how often you want to check in.

Can I meet or interview the VA before deciding?

Of course. Once you get your shortlist, you can reach out to any of the recommended VAs to ask questions, chat, or book a quick call to make sure it’s a good fit.

Do your VAs work in specific time zones?

Most of our VAs are based in Canada and work standard North American hours. Availability differs by person, but we always match you with someone who can support your preferred timeframe.

What types of tasks can a virtual assistant help with?
